SummaryThe Clinical Genome Resource team (ClinGen,
www.clinicalgenome.org) is a research program funded by the
National Human Genome Research Institute that supports central
resources to define the clinical relevance of genes and variants
for use in precision medicine and research. This project
coordinator position will play a vital role in coordinating
activities within the ClinGen team at Geisinger and across the
international ClinGen consortium, including coordination of the
ClinGen patient registry, GenomeConnect. This individual will have
exposure to the genetics and/or clinical information technology
fields. Background in genetics or information technology is not
required, but attention to detail, drive, and strong interpersonal
skills are.Under minimal supervision of an experienced project
manager or designee, responsible for oversight of projects
including protocol development and implementation, regulatory and
other applicable submissions, project planning, team management,
project tracking, data collection, and assisting in study finances
in the creation of final reports and publications. Secondary
responsibilities include assisting with the development and
management of new projects.
Job Duties Provide core coordination support for the ClinGen
patient registry, GenomeConnect.Responsibilities include, but are
not limited to:
