Medical Customer Service Representative to join our team in
Carmichael, California. In this role, you will play a vital part in
ensuring seamless patient interactions, managing scheduling, and
verifying insurance information. This is a long-term contract
position, offering a great opportunity to contribute to a
supportive healthcare environment. Responsibilities: • Handle
incoming calls with professionalism, addressing patient inquiries
and resolving concerns efficiently. • Manage patient scheduling and
appointment reminders to ensure timely visits. • Verify medical
insurance information and assist patients with billing-related
questions. • Maintain accurate medical charts and records in
compliance with organizational standards. • Utilize electronic
practice management systems to update and retrieve patient
information. • Provide exceptional customer service to patients,
physicians, and staff, fostering positive relationships. • Apply
basic medical terminology knowledge to communicate effectively in a
healthcare setting. • Collaborate with team members and supervisors
to optimize clinic workflows. • Operate standard office equipment
and software to support daily tasks. • Uphold the clinic’s values
and mission by ensuring high-quality service delivery.• High school
diploma or equivalent is required. • At least six months of
experience in a medical office or comparable high-volume customer
service role is preferred. • Strong interpersonal and
organizational skills with a commitment to excellent customer
service. • Proficiency in keyboarding and familiarity with standard
office equipment and software. • Knowledge of basic medical
terminology is essential. • Experience with electronic practice
management systems is preferred. • Ability to manage sensitive
patient information with confidentiality and professionalism. •
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented
environment.
