moving forward. Job Description Essential Duties &
Responsibilities: SanDisk’s Digital Transformation and Operations
Procurement group is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented
intern to join the Cost, Working Capital, and Contract Management
pillar. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain
hands-on experience in strategic procurement, data analytics,
supplier management, and project execution. An intern in this group
can expect to work on and gain experience in the following areas:
Cost Management: Support the analysis of procurement spend data to
identify cost savings opportunities. Assist in tracking and
reporting on cost reduction initiatives. Collaborate with
stakeholders to drive cost efficiency strategies. Project Pipeline
& Oversight: Develop and maintain project tracking tools for
procurement initiatives. Assist in the prioritization and
management of the project pipeline. Support regular project updates
and stakeholder communications. KPI/Dashboard Development: Design
and develop dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs)
for procurement operations. Analyze data trends to provide insights
for decision-making. Automate reporting processes for enhanced
visibility and efficiency. Supplier Outreach: Orchestrate supplier
events, including developing event content, coordinating with
internal and external stakeholders, and meeting with vendors.
Ensure seamless execution of supplier engagements to foster
collaboration and innovation. Category Planning: Conduct market
research to support category strategies. Assist in the development
of category plans and sourcing strategies. Collaborate with
cross-functional teams on procurement planning activities.
Emotional Intelligence/EQ: Strong problem-solving and analytical
skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members
and stakeholders. Eagerness to learn and adapt to evolving project
requirements. Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications Required: Current
students seeking a Master’s degree in supply chain management,
business, finance, data analytics, or a related field with a
graduation date between June-September 2027. Proficiency in
Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Familiarity with data analytics and reporting methodologies.
Understanding of supply chain management concepts. Preferred
Skills: Knowledge of procurement systems and contract management
tools is a plus. Experience with data visualization tools such as
Tableau or Power BI is preferred. Strong problem-solving and
analytical skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a
team. Effective communication skills for collaborating with team
members and stakeholders. Eagerness to learn and adapt to evolving
project requirements. Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet
deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Additional Information
