Job Description Job Description Job Title: Quality Inspector Job Description The QA Inspector plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of products. This position involves performing inbound and outbound goods quality checks and conducting ATP test inspections for production for four hours daily. Additionally, the role supports production needs and handles materials and services using the SAP process for the remaining four hours each day. The inspector is responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and healthy work environment, adhering to company rules and policies, and ensuring compliance with quality, product safety, and HSE regulations. Responsibilities Perform inbound and outbound goods and product quality assurance inspections. Conduct First Article Inspection (FAI) ATP test inspections. Manage the SAP process, including creating and processing repair reports and handling product receipts and shipments. Support inventory management and process material requests to meet production needs. Conduct basic mechanical repairs and tests. Log, enter, and track case activity for record management. Maintain and safeguard business records. Essential Skills Inspection and visual assessment skills. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Proficiency in using mechanical tools. Experience with SAP processes. 1-2 years of relevant experience in quality inspection. Additional Skills & Qualifications Mechanical aptitude for equipment maintenance and inspections. Strong time management skills. Problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word for data entry and report writing. Why Work Here? Work Environment The position operates in a shop environment requiring sitting, standing, walking, crouching, kneeling, and pushing or pulling. The role may involve lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs. Work hours are from 5:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Thursday, with additional hours on Friday and the person when available. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Union City, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.90 - $28.90/hr.
