Our growing company is seeking to hire a Sales Manager who will
oversee, support and train the agents within the team. You will be
responsible for interacting with the agents on a daily basis while
helping them build their sales skills, increase conversion rates
and keep accountable to their goals (both team goals and personal
goals). You will also be responsible for overseeing our channel
account, which will require close monitoring of lead flow, agent
accountability to meet required conversion rates, training to
improve agent skills who are falling behind, as well as
participation in meetings with the channel company. In addition to
working directly with the agents and sales staff, you will interact
with both the Operations Manager and the Sales Director to ensure
that we're hitting sales and profitability goals. You will be an
integral part of our team; offering advice and ideas to keep our
brand and team moving forward in the marketplace. An ability to
multi-task and attend to small details is required, along with
strong written and verbal communication skills. Most importantly,
you will have a great sense of humor and will be able to continue
building the team culture and a fun working environment.
--- Host morning huddle - 15-minute video conference for updating
of lead status', role-playing, acknowledgment of "wins" and daily
--- Meet with new agents to get them up and running with the
channel account (if participating), practice scripts, teach
technology (including CRM training), talk about best practices.
--- Check leads in CRM to be sure that agents are touching leads
per team policy
--- Cross-check with Transaction Management team to ensure that all
channel account escrows are updated and accounted for.
--- Communicate in Slack for daily questions and tasks, as well as
provide contract updates or any changes the team should be aware
--- Schedule weekly 1-on-1 meetings with each agent. 15-30 minutes
to discuss any required conversion improvement and updating of
--- Attend weekly meetings with Sales Director and Operations
--- Attend Monday team meetings.
--- Attend Friday team meetings.
--- Attend company Office Manager's Monday meetings.
--- Oversee new agent onboarding and training.
--- Weekly check-in with past team agents to obtain channel account
lead status updates.
--- Attend video coaching call with Tom Ferry coach 2nd and 4th
Tuesdays of the month.
--- Attend The Agency's bi-weekly meetings.
--- Assist in the development of Monthly KPIs for the sales team,
and your role as a leader, in order to drive performance.
--- Attend Monthly Reporting meetings with Sales Manager Operations
Manager to check on KPI's.
--- Assist with hosting Monthly Recap meetings (agents are broken
into groups to measure whether they are on track for their
--- After initial 30-day schedule a 60-minute business planning
meeting for new agents.
--- Plan one optional team-building event like a Friday afternoon
--- Hand out awards for most closings, most signed contracts,
etc...with a small prize ($25 prize)
--- Conduct one contest with a prize for top agent(s). Should be
based on production and/or KPI's or some other metric ($100
--- Attend Quarterly Reporting meetings with CEO, Operations
Manager and Sales Director to check on KPI's.
--- Assist agents with contract and negotiation questions. Utilize
the Transaction Management team, Team Lead or company Office
Manager when necessary.
--- Oversee the Virtual Assistant to ensure they are properly
updating the channel account and assisting with ongoing
--- Oversee the tracking and measuring within SISU (our tracking
system), which includes posting leader boards, as well as ensure
agents are using the CRM for all communication with leads.
--- Work with TC to troubleshoot any issues that seem to be going
on with transactions.
--- Work with Operations Manager, Sales Director, and agents to
come up with policies and procedures for lead distribution, lead
follow-up, open houses, etc...
