Manager, Software Engineering - Interactive FoundationsFigma is

Interactive Foundations team is responsible for creating and
maintaining our runtime APIs and implementations to support rich,
high fidelity interactions and animations across our product suite.
Our team's work is critical to ensuring product teams like
Prototyping and Slides have the platform to empower our customers
to bring their designs to life in new and exciting ways. You'll
lead the team to enable engineers at Figma to easily develop the
next generation of interactive Figma features and products.This is
a full time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or
remotely in the United States.What you'll do at Figma:
- Build and execute on a long-term roadmap to improve the
platform and runtimes supporting interactive and animated
experiences in Figma products like Prototyping and Slides.
- Hire, manage, support and develop a team of engineers,
including staff level engineers.
- Partner with product and engineering leadership to set
strategy, priorities, and mission for teams and projects.
- Roll up your sleeves as needed to get involved in the technical
details of solving some of the most complex technical challenges at
Figma.
- Establish trust within and across teams by creating
accountability and a positive work environment in partnership with
other leaders in the organization.

- 2+ years of experience managing and leading a high output
engineering team.
- 5+ years of engineering experience working on complex systems
with an emphasis on performance, reliability, quality, and
extensibility.
- Demonstrated leadership skills in building a high-performing
and highly engaged engineering team; including a proven track
record of motivating, mentoring, and guiding senior engineers.
- Demonstrated ability to partner with internal product and
development teams to build systems that solve their needs.While
it's not required, it's an added plus if you also have:
- Experience building performant animation and interaction

or New York hub offices, this role has the annual base salary range
stated below.Job level and actual compensation will be decided
based on factors including, but not limited to, individual
qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process
(including skills and prior relevant experience, potential impact,
and scope of role), market demands, and specific work location. The
listed range is a guideline, and the range for this role may be
modified. For roles that are available to be filled remotely, the
pay range is localized according to employee work location by a
factor of between 80% and 100% of range. Please discuss your
