Number: R-36053 Job SummaryResponsible for the oversight of
consenting activities within the assigned region. Responsible for
oversight of regional consenting activities including
implementation of the protocol, resource planning, team management,
project tracking, study metrics, data collection and auditing, and
assisting in the expansion of the program within the assigned
- Tracks ordering of supplies and project related expenses,
employee mileage, and monitors regional budgets.
- Assists in developing fiscal year budgets for the region.
- Ensures adherence to federal or other regulatory
- Determines required staffing levels and works with Operations
Manager to discuss resource availability.
- Assists in the development, implementation and management of
protocols for funded projectsImplements a project plan and provides
overall project management, including oversight of the study team,
progress tracking and reporting, quality control, recruitment and
research support staff training.
- Coordinates all research project-related activities to meet
project goals and milestones, based on study design.
- Works with management to develop and implement a strategy to
optimize resource utilization and expand consenting operations
within the region.
- Communicates resource needs, issues, and regional status
updates to project team and program management, with supporting
data, as requested and required.
- Develops and delivers study specific material.
- As supervisor, interviews, hires, mentors and trains junior
project staffActs as primary point of initial contact with clinic
staff at newly involved clinics.
- Acts as a spokesperson at community events and information
sessions, as required.
- Reviews data dashboards for optimization of consenting location
- Assists with preparation of data dictionaries.
- Assists with preparation and submission of final reports, study
manuscripts for publication, and grant applications.
