Job Description:
Epic Special Education Staffing is actively seeking a passionate
and dedicated School Psychologist to join our mission of fostering
the educational success of students with special needs. This
position can be fulfilled either onsite or in a hybrid format,
providing flexibility while maintaining impactful interaction with
students. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing
student needs, providing psychological services, and collaborating
with educators and parents to create supportive educational
environments. Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate the
educational, emotional, and behavioral needs of students. Develop
and implement intervention strategies and individualized education
plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and parents. Monitor
and document student progress and outcomes. Provide consultation to
educators and families to support the understanding and
implementation of psychological services. Participate in
multidisciplinary teams to determine appropriate services for
students. Lead workshops and training sessions to enhance staff and
parental understanding of child psychological welfare. Strong
knowledge of psychological theories and practices relevant to
education. Ability to analyze complex problems and develop
comprehensive solutions. Exceptional interpersonal and
communication skills. Proficiency in administering and interpreting
psychological tests and assessments. Experience with case
management software and educational technology. Medical Insurance
Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid state certification or
licensure as a School Psychologist. Nationally Certified School
Psychologist (NCSP) credential preferred.
