Job Description CT/X-Ray Technologist - Up to to $5k Relocation
Assistance Available Location: Santa Clara, New Mexico The CT
Tech/Radiology Tech is responsible for performing radiology and CT
procedures and diagnostic evaluations of patients. They provide
clinical instruction to students, follow pain management protocols,
and maintain adequate records and supplies. Essential Functions
Perform CT and Radiology procedures and diagnostic evaluations of
patients Assess patient needs relevant to CT or Radiology
procedures Stock rooms with adequate supplies and maintain an
orderly working area Maintain records and ensure safety, proper
care of patients, and diagnostic quality of CT or Radiology
examinations Perform Quality Assurance/Quality Control checks as
needed Use radiation protection measures such as time, collimation,
and shielding Follow hospital policy regarding pain management and
use of restraints for patients Demonstrate working knowledge of
PACS and MediTech systems Provide clinical instruction to students
and precept new techs Perform other duties as assigned Requirements
Current ARRT certification Current NM State license AHA BLS
certification within 3 months of hire One year Radiology experience
required One year CT Tech experience preferred Willingness to
cross-train in other modalities highly preferred Computer
