Exceptional Pediatrician Opportunity Marshall, an award-winning community hospital, is looking for a pediatrician to join our team of 4 Pediatricians, 1 Nurse Practitioner and excellent support staff in the Sierra Foothills. The selected candidate will join a busy practice in a beautiful medical office with a large insured population. Your primary role is supporting a Pediatrics outpatient practice, while doing a small number of newborn nursery rounds and attending a very small amount of deliveries. Additional compensation is given for the deliveries you attend. Our collaborative Pediatric team has a long, well-respected history in our community and at the tertiary centers to which we refer. We work in a collegial environment, where continuity is the rule, and practice skills beyond the everyday, at a beautiful nursery. –Dr. Brett Christiansen ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY - Established Rural Health Clinic in Placerville that works with an independent community hospital - Full time position as a 4 or 5 day work week to provide flexibility for your needs - A work week requires 32 face to face patient care hours - A full time position requires a minimum 188 workdays/year - See an average of 15-18 patients per day - Compensation range: $272,400 - $330,000 - Generous call stipend in addition to salary - Productivity bonus - Full benefits - Generous 12.5% employer 401K match - Sign on bonus and relocation bonus - Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Site - AI scribe built into EPIC to help with the burden of documentation - Level 1 nursery (mostly well-baby deliveries) - Call rotation 1:5 - Light and non-burdensome call (35-45 deliveries/month) - Responsibility to attend high risk deliveries - Maintain hospital exposure by rounding on newborns - Do ED consults as needed, but infrequent - Work with obstetricians and certified nurse midwives in a collegial environment - Working relationships with local children’s hospitals - Perinatology unit with devoted C-section operating room - Tranquil nursery with awesome staff - Baby Friendly certification since 2015 with lactation nurses in house with 90-95% exclusive breastfeeding on d/c - No pediatric admissions - Fully staffed ED - Epic EMR WHY PRACTICE WITH US? - Competitive salary, generous benefits package including HSA, 401K and much more, malpractice coverage, and more - Collegial and well respected pediatric group with high patient satisfaction scores - Part of a 50 Physician-led multispecialty medical group - Non-profit community hospital LOCATION & LIFESTYLE Live and work in the beautiful Sierra Foothills, near national forestland, lakes and rivers.
