Job Description:

Assists Patient Access Supervisor as needed. The Team Leader provides support and leadership for the daily operations of all Patient Access functions while performing the day-to-day duties of a Registrar. Provides training and mentoring of staff, as needed. Job RequirementsMinimum EducationHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredRequired SkillsRequires a minimum of three years combined experience with scheduling, registration, billing, insurance verification and/or collections. Minimum of three years working with the public. Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and Manage Care payers.Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.Requires flexibility in scheduling and ability to work all shift patterns including weekends and holidays to insure appropriateness and continuity of care for the patients of Sovah Health Danville.License:Must have a valid driver's license with good driving record.
