OperationsDescriptionThe RFO Portfolio is a cross-functional
initiative working closely with Retail Online, physical stores,
Logistics, Packaging, Product Marketing, Product Operations, Apple
Services, and Apple Care. It encompasses projects supporting store
expansion, fulfillment methods, gifting, payment, Trade-In,
repairs, inventory management, and Apple's 2030 programs. The
Manager will collaborate with New Product Introduction teams to
align on customer expectations and ensure a seamless experience
from order to unboxing. This leader will guide, coach, and empower
the team to excel across the project portfolio, embodying WW
Operations BPR values.This role involves:
- Collaborating with RFO, ASO, and Retail Leadership to support
revenue growth, customer experience, expansion, and 2030
goals.
- Defining and managing multi-year capability roadmaps aligned
with business strategies.
- Shaping business strategy through process and system
transformation opportunities.
- Providing expertise and thought leadership to foster
innovation.
- Managing a large portfolio of programs, resources, and
timelines.
- Leading a high-performing team of managers and
contributors.
- Advocating for Retail Fulfillment teams in cross-functional
initiatives.
- Acting as a liaison with internal partners like IS&T and
analytics teams.
- Managing change and implementing new ideas within Apple's
culture.
- Using analytical skills to prioritize and rationalize
changes.
- Addressing escalations with root cause analysis and operational
solutions.
- Defining critical metrics for success.
- Ensuring timely resolution of issues and prioritizing post-NPI
operations.Minimum Qualifications
- BA/BS Degree with 12+ years of relevant experience.
- At least 3 years of leadership experience in global supply
chain transformation, preferably in high-tech, consumer
electronics, or retail sectors.
- Deep expertise in logistics, fulfillment operations, systems,
and processes.
- Strong understanding of systems infrastructure supporting
logistics and distribution.
- Experience leading multiple international projects
concurrently.Preferred Qualifications
- MBA
- Proven success in leading strategic programs and executing
tactical activities.
- Excellent communication and influence skills across
organizational levels.
- Proficiency in systems development life cycles.
- Strong leadership qualities that motivate and inspire
teams.
- Knowledge of New Product Introduction processes.
- Problem-solving skills for quick issue resolution.At Apple,
compensation includes base pay, which ranges from $155,100 to
$233,500, depending on skills and experience. Employees may
