Job Description:
Who We Are UnitedMasters is building a marketplace that connects
artists, brands and fans - empowering artists to earn and grow.
UnitedMasters has taken the bold step of building a music
distribution service that, radically, puts artists first -
disrupting the legacy music business by letting up-and-coming
artists distribute their music directly to fans through streaming
services while maintaining ownership of their master recording
rights and up to 100% of royalties. Through the combination of
UnitedMasters’ music distribution platform and its deep ties to
brands, UnitedMasters enables independent artists and change-makers
to grow and earn unlike any other platform. The UnitedMasters team
is made up of musicians, marketers, engineers, and storytellers
with backgrounds from YouTube, SoundCloud, Pandora, Facebook, Uber,
Dropbox, Complex, VICE, and more. We work hand in hand with the
award-winning creative teams that forge those innovative
partnerships at Translation (our in-house creative advertising
agency). We are looking for a Product & Lifecycle Marketing Manager
to join UnitedMasters! This role is based in San Francisco with
four days in-office and one day remote. What You'll Do Product
Marketing & Strategy Go-to-Market (GTM) Execution: Lead the
marketing launch for new subscription features, coordinating across
product, design, and social teams to ensure a unified message.
Competitive Intelligence: Maintain an ongoing pulse on the music
distribution landscape to refine our value proposition and identify
gaps in our current subscription offering. User Research &

and marketing hooks. Positioning & Messaging: Maintain and evolve
the "Source of Truth" messaging for our distribution tiers,
ensuring consistency across the app, website, and external ads.
Feature Adoption: Monitor usage data to identify under-utilized
features and build cross-channel "feature discovery" campaigns to
increase perceived value and reduce churn. Lifecycle & Conversion
Funnel Optimization: Design and optimize signup abandonment
journeys, identifying friction points in the checkout flow and
implementing creative solutions to increase conversion. Retention &
Winback: Develop automated strategies to prevent involuntary churn
and re-engage lapsed subscribers. Braze Execution: As a Braze power
user, you will build and deploy sophisticated Canvas journeys,
utilize Liquid for deep personalization, and manage audience
segmentation to ensure our messaging is hyper-relevant. A/B
Testing: Run a rigorous testing roadmap across in-app modals, push
notifications, and email to constantly improve engagement metrics.
Data Reporting: Partner with our data science team to track and
report on the impact of your campaigns on subscription growth and
Lifetime Value (LTV). Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Technical
Proficiency: You should be an expert in building multi-step
marketing automation journeys and comfortable working with
technical stakeholders to ensure data events are firing correctly.

identify friction points in the user journey. Experience with tools
like Amplitude or Looker is a plus. Product Intuition: You
understand how users interact with software and can advocate for
product changes that improve the marketing funnel. Communication:
Exceptional copywriting skills with the ability to translate
complex technical features into simple, compelling benefits for
artists. Minimum Qualifications 5 years in lifecycle, product
marketing, or growth marketing, ideally within a subscription-based
